Tom Ford: A Single Man

For a man who makes fashion, Tom Ford is associated more with nudity than with clothes. His blatantly sexual campaigns, put together with his natural smothering good looks, can make anybody forget that he started out as the man who resurrected Gucci with good tailoring.

A Single Man could well be the style display to change critics' minds.
Tom Ford directs this movie, not just with action, but with impeccable styling.

Tom Ford eyewear may be too ubiquitous to achieve cult designer status among niche buyers, but there's no denying that the man does create special statements:

And that's why Tom Ford eyewear is now available at seen@dempsey.

Mykita on the menu

Why Mykita? Because they are light as air, have screwless hinges, and made design and technology fall in love and get engaged.

The Alain Mikli Perfect Pair Party: 27 Feb 2010

Together with EuroSports Auto, we threw a party for our VIP customers, their Lamborghini customers, and every lucky person who walked through our doors that day. There was champagne and red wine by Infusion, our good neighbour. Sweet and savoury canapes too, by Canele.

We brought in the Alain Mikli Solid Gold and Horn frame as the afternoon's special guest. It retails at USD $10 000 because it is hand-crafted in solid gold, no less.
You know you've arrived when you need to keep your spectacles in a safe.

100+ Alain Mikli frames were brought in for the event, looking like candy on display.

Guests and walk-in customers were pleasantly surprised with freeflow flutes of champagne.

Overheard outside the store: "I think there's a wedding going on or something."

Asiatique, our Dempsey Hill neighbour, furnished our party with delectable shiny objects and aromatic scented candles.

Canele canapes were served--among them smoked salmon profiteroles (a favourite), petit brioche burgers,  petit macarons, and sour cherry tartlets.

Our restaurant-style tables were put to good use as guests lingered through the afternoon.

The new Lotus Evora, on display by EuroSports Auto. For those seeking their next loud entrance, or a super-present for their superkids.

There was no lack of eye-candy (or car-envy) for Dempsey patrons driving by the store.

We like to throw parties for our customers to thank them for popping by and being our friends. Because when they step in, it's often much more than just making a quick purchase. They stay and let us make them cappuccino, and come round to hang out. To all our customers, here's a hearty thank you for being seen@dempsey!
